Voki

Voki is a website that enables and allows you to create an animated character to introduce yourself or create a story with. When signing on and creating an account a character is picked and you are allowed to give it hair, accessories, background and different features to create your own styel for your character. This website was a lot of fun, and will find it beneficial and useful in the grade levels of 5-8; could be used with new students and using it as an ice breaker. The website was easy to use which made it very productive and effective; I really enjoyed this assignment!

Google Sites

I have never created a webpage or published a site regarding myself or my classroom. I really enjoyed looking through all the templates because they had so many pertaining to different areas. Being a soccer coach, as well as a daycare director, I saw other templates that would fit perfectly into that category and maybe grow my business once getting that webpage up and going. I did find it difficult at first to find a template that would suit my style within the teaching field, and since I did not know how to manage the site at first, I think I made three different one's until I saw how to change and manage the site.

I found this assignment to be extremely fun because you are able to make the page about you, and people get your sense of style. I have a lot to do on my page, but I have started it and it will be upgraded within the months to come. To check out my webpage, click on this site: https://sites.google.com/site/adipietro18181818/

Word Cloud

A word cloud is a list of words describing a topic, the topic can be anything you imagine it to look like. In my case, I chose an educator, and focused all different words that describe an educator. If an educator in my opinion does not matach up to the words I have listed, then I do not vouch or see that individual as an educator. Also, I made my word cloud bright and vibrant to show that to be an educator you have to have a bright, entergetic personality in order to work with any grade level of students.

Again, the word cloud can pertain to anything, you are able to use as many words as you would like, frame the words in a specific order and then choose a font and color for your group of words. This website could be used within an English classroom to have students make a list of adjectives describing themselves, and to go as far as having the students bring in pictures to show the word come to life. It was a very simple activity but brings a lot of meaning behind it.

Here is the link to view my word cloud in the gallery:

Excel 2

Within this activity, we are taking a research question and depicting to see the result. The research questions states: Does student's gender impact 4th grade math performance?

The independent variables were the genders: Males and Females. The dependent variable is the website in which I received the information off of: NAEP 2011 4th Grade state reading averages. Now that the information is in place and we know what we are looking for we create a hypothesis, which is basically an educated guess. After already looking at the states and seeing the vast difference in the states, I was not sure if it would really matter about the gender since I did not take a huge look at that side of the graph. When thinking and review, I came to the conclusion, I did not feel that gender would make a difference in the students performance.

Below is my t- test in which I compared the two samples given to me; males and females in result to their performance of the reading averages.

Based on the conclusion, I failed to reject the null hypothesis of one gender performing better than the other because their was no significant difference.

Within my own teaching, I could do a Health lesson on finding if more females atheletes are prone to get hurt over male atheletes; students could focus on a certain state on nationwide.

Excel 1

This assignment was actually interesting to view, but I had a series of frustrating events happen during this assignment; my computer decided to crash during this event causing me to redo all the work on the library computer, and since I cannot download any applications, I was refrained to using Paint instead of Jing when posting where the states our within our graph. Other then my mistrials within my day, this assignment was easy to follow due to the videos provided and since I have lived in both WV and MD, it was fun to look at the differences.

                                                                       Descriptive Statistics:

When comparing the states, I noticed that West Virginia was very low within the reading level of the 4th grade students of all the states, it was located to be the 41st state, and Maryland was extremely high rannked at third, right behind Massachusetts and New Jersey. With the ranking being listed West Virginia is below average and Maryland is above average.

Scatter Plot Graph- Again, I used paint to locate both West Virignia and Maryland on my graph due to my difficulties with my computer. The graph is able to give you a visual representation of where both states are at within the reading content compared to every state in our country.

Rubric

Rubistar is a site that allows you to create any rubric based on what you are teaching. A rubric is simply a grading scale, whatever the project may be which is my case was a Persuasive Essay, so what I did was take the elements that I am looking for and grade accordingly. With the persuasive essay I am looking for an attention grabber or quality introduction paragraph, thesis statement, supporting details on whether they are for or against the topic given, closing paragraph, spelling/ punctuation, sentence structure and grammar. Now that I have all the elements that I will be looking for in their essays, I create a scale of 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest and write what the students need to do in order to obtain a 5. Rubrics are a guide for students to see what they need to do to receive a high score as well as what will give them a low score.

Rubrics should be given to the student prior to the assignment so they have a guideline and something that clearly states what the teacher is looking for; this is a great tool for grading and I have used rubrics may of times for papers, PowerPoint projects as well as collaborative projects.

Google Earth

Above is my Google Earth picture including the ten landmarks that I would take my students on when visiting D.C. I have used Google Earth before in other classes as well as in a class when teaching Introduction to Computers. Google Earth is different from Google Maps because it shows a visual image with graphic details and almost making you feel like you are in that location at that given time. As you can tell at the bottom of my screen shot how great the visual images are of each landmark and when clicking on a specific location it will bring you to that landmark, showing you the streets and surroundings to give you a better picture of what it looks like.

The KML File stands for "Keyhole Markup Language," it allows you to take a map created through Google Map and insert it into Google Earth providing a clearer aspect of the geographic data entered. The KML File will allow you to plot multiple points of interest, draw lines and mark regions within the file to transfer, allowing you to share places and information of other applications and exchange it to another.

Scavenger Hunt of Capital Cities!

When reviewing the Google Earth for Educators Website, I did come across some really great ideas of how to incorporate Google Earth successfully into the classroom. One that really caught my eye was the scavenger hunt, what student does not love a scavenger hunt?? The reason I chose this one particularly is because not ever really being attracted to history class, this would catch my interest and foresee it catching other students interest as well. It allows the students to research the cities, learning facts about each state and ultimately finding the answer by using Google Earth and seeing it geographically, almost putting them there at the actual capital. I think this activity would really grab a lot of students attention, and would be a lot of fun to do! You can locate this activity on this website: http://sitescontent.google.com/google-earth-for-educators/classroom-resources/lesson-plan-library.
Look at the list of lesson plans and click on: History, Scavenger Hunt of Capital Cities, 5- it will then upload a Microsoft Word Document and give further instructions.

ISTE Standards: 1a, 1b, 2a, 4a- These standards involve teachers using new technology and integrating it into the classroom to teach and educate students on new concepts and skills, then assessing them on the demonstration and understanding of the assignment given.

Washington D.C. Field Trip!- Map 1

What better place to visit then Washington, D.C.? I will never forget my 8th grade field trip to D.C. because it made the pictures within the book come to life; everything we learned about was real and it was right in front of my eyes! The topic would be "taking a look into the past!" What I mean by that is that everything within D.C. has history and a story behind it, there is a reason for its importance and being located in the area. Seeing the ten landmarks that I have chosen for my students would bring history to life, and being able to learn how we got to where we are today. Even though I have never been a huge history buff, I do think history is important to share with students, so they get a taste of what happened or what is still happening, and how progress has been made.

The topic would essentially be how leaders of our history impacted our future such as presidents which are a few landmarks I had chosen such as Lincoln and Jefferson Memorial, George Washington Monument and Ford's Theater, as well as the current president and residing in the White House. I then focused on leaders as in soldiers discussing the Korean War Veteran's Memorial as well as the Arlington Cemetery and being able to relate all those soldiers as fighting for our country. One of my favorite landmarks in Washington, D.C. is the Holocaust Museum this indicates a leader who impacted our future within a negative outcome but essentially sticks to the fact that leaders create an outcome whether it will be a positive or negative one.

The students will look at the buildings, pictures, descriptions and be able to take a sense of what the landmark is about. Each student will view the landmarks differently, but seeing the landmark will bring some clarity of the landmark to the student. There is nothing particular I would want them to look at, when visiting landmark you never pin point one thing to view, you want to take everything in. As I stated before after reading something from a book, seeing it in person will bring so much more meaning.

Self- Grading Form

Our next assignment was creating a quiz and then implementing a spreadsheet that would grade the quizzes for you as students submit them. After watching the brief video, I decided to do my quiz based on the Nervous System. I was a Health Educator for two years and I would take two to three weeks to go through  each system of the body, but my favorite was the nervous system. So I went back through my quizzes that I had given in the past, and pulled questions that I had used in several different quizzes along the period of teaching it, and generated a quiz on Google Docs.

Once implementing the quiz, respondents take your quiz and can view their results on the spreadsheet provided as well!
Check out my quiz, and see how much you really know about the nervous system at: http://goo.gl/DI6iq and then you can view your results here: http://goo.gl/83h5z!

After completing the quiz and spreadsheet, it was definitely a lot easier to sit back and watch the computer generate all the answers for myself; that is one thing I did not miss which was grading! So instead of taking extra hours to do so, this tool would be able to do it for me and would save a lot of time!

ISTE Standards: 1a, 2a, 3a & d- These standards reflect that new technology integrated into the school system can evaluate as well as elevate knowledge to the parents, teachers and students by taking current technology and knowledge to new technologies and situations!

Survey- Google Forms

I decided to do my survey on Cold Stone Ice Cream, being a big ice cream person I was interested in seeing and viewing what people feel about Cold Stone. Coming from a town with a lot of options, Cold Stone seems to always have the most customers yet they are the most expensive, so I created a survey to see what exactly people love, like or hate about the ice cream that is known as the "best!" So myself and my brother were the first to answer the survey, so any further insight to the ice cream extravaganza, please feel free to put your experience in so I can see what the true meaning is behind the Cold Stone ice cream.

For my online survey, please visit: http://goo.gl/g1yyN

The spreadsheet responses can be viewed here: http://goo.gl/mMNdF

Overall, I really enjoyed this tool and find it to be useful for when conducting surveys, quizzes and questionnaires. The site was very easy to maneuver and pick what exactly you wanted your survey to look like. I did hope there would be more options for the templates, I tried to retrieve my own but could figure out how to download my own template, so I resorted to what I felt would be a catchy survey template. If anyone was able to construct their own template, please let me know how you did it.

Prezi

This would be the second Prezi that I have created! whooooohooo! For this Prezi, I decided to make one about myself because one of the classes I taught was Learning Skills. This class was involved in teaching the students responsibility, care, kindness and valuable acts. So one thing I had done was created a PowerPoint on my life to give the students an insight of who I am and that I far more than just a teacher they see seven hours a day. Boy do I wish I had the Prezi when creating my initial slide because the rotating of the presentation and keeping it moving is absolutely awesome. I had a blast creating this Prezi!

As I had mentioned I created a Prezi based on myself that I would integrate into my Learning Skills class, the template I chose was "Stepping Stones," and I called my Prezi "Stepping into Success." What I did was start how introducing myself, talking who most influenced my life, what were big aspects of my life to success and what my future goals are; this Prezi will not only allow students to see a little bit about myself but that no matter how old you get that there are goals always, and to keep striving and pushing for those goals; key to success!!

You can watch my Prezi at: http://prezi.com/aosqmke1wocr/present/?auth_key=x8rqbs3&follow=uqqmvenygrbi

PowerPoint Vs. Prezi:

Growing up using PowerPoint it is like second nature, I know where everything is at and I can get the presentation done in no time which is an advantage. PowerPoint, I feel is not as touchy as the Prezi, and what I mean that is when touching the Prezi screen things seem to go everywhere, where the PowerPoint is a little outdated and can easily maneuver. The Prezi I feel is a much better tool visually because it is constantly on the go, and with the way society is nowadays, it will keep the students up to speed with how fast our lives have to be. The Prezi also allows to horizontal and vertical shifting effect where PowerPoint does not, it is switching directions and movements, keeping the presentation alive which was a huge factor for me. Being in classes now, PowerPoint is the same- click and the next slide and its the same motion, with Prezi you never know where it is going to go, keeping the excitement up! So, with that all being said, I feel Prezi is the better tool, it will excite, exhilarate, and most importantly keep the attention of the audience!

Youtube Presentation

With this presentation, I decided to introduce the background of soccer by discussing the history, positions, and basic rules. This would be incorporated into a gym, health class to let students gain knowledge of a games background. Knowing everything about soccer it would be easy for me to pick up and play but other students may know nothing, and giving valuable insight may give them more drive to participate within the class.

This assignment was very frustrating for myself, I spent numerous hours during given days to figure this presentation out. I first did the PowerPOint with audio, and transferred it to the PhotoBucket story when linking it to Youtube finally after multiple tries and research I found out that it cut off half of my audio on each slide, so I had to redo my entire presentation and then could not figure out how I originally posted it.

So, I do have the link for my first attempt at the project, and if finding out how to post it again, I will add the newest link into the comment section. I did have fun creating and researching for the presentation but it was very hard to embed and link, at least for me!

PowerPoint Presentation 1

Throughout the weekend I created a PowerPoint on our TEETH! :) Being a health educator and working with various ages of children, I decided to create an introductory PowerPoint on how to talk about teeth and the four different types. Once creating the PowerPoint of things and objectives I thought were important to cover, I decided to have someone else take a second look. And can you guess who my second eye was? A child I babysit named Brianna who just graduated fifth grade and entering middle school in the fall. When looking through the slides, Brianna commented on the pictures, and how she liked how I integrated candy or people doing activities to incorporate to what the teeth functions are. She asked to add more pictures on the PowerPoint, so I allowed her to add her own taste. She also would tell me how to re-size or change colors to make it more effective when watching. She said that if I wanted to make it a "pop" quiz PowerPoint, I should have added a quiz at the end to see what the children really grasped from it.

Overall, the PowerPoint was very successful and it was nice to actually have a student/ child view it to see her viewpoint. As an educator it gives you a different insight and ultimately they are the one's who will take the information away, so getting her opinion was helpful!

You can view my PowerPoint on Slide Share at :
 http://www.slideshare.net/adipietro1818/the-four-types-of-teeth

I had a ton of fun creating it, and hope that someone where will be able to use to  help their students.

Jing Screencast!

Instead of recreating an image, I created a video! This was more helpful for me in the education aspect and I really enjoyed doing it! I think this is a great tool to use for directions, especially for online classes so we are able to see how to actually do it, and with myself being a visual person, I absolutely love it!

The video I created was on how to create a PowerPoint slide, not just a white slide but touching it up with color, animations and making it appealing to the audience's eyes! Check out my screen cast on: http://screencast.com/t/BQUs3reN.

1. How do you determine and control the recording area of your screen capture?
            > There is a "+" shape that pops up when you want to shoot a video, you need to drag the cross shape out creating into a box shape on what area you want to capture.

2. What are the options for saving on a screen capture?
             > Options included the screencast.com which is where mine is saved so everyone public will be able to view it. You are able to save it to your computer, send to twitter, facebook or youtube if you have the upgraded version of Jing.

3. Where is the screen capture on your computer?
          > mine is located at the top of my computer screen

4. How do you push it to the internet and share with others?
        > screencast.com which is the first option it gives you on the bottom of the video located on the tool bar.

5. What file type is a Jing screencast movie?
       > SWF Video Format unless you have the upgraded version which was MPEG-4

Standard:
2a- Design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity.
4b.- Address the diverse needs of learners by using learner-oriented strategies providing equitable access to appropriate digital tools and resources.

Jing Graphic

Jing is a tool that allows you to capture a video or image, using the tools given to touch up your picture/ video. Jing allows you to share your capture through screencast where everyone will be able to view it, or you can privately send it into a message to a friend.

To me Jing was not that beneficial, and without watching the videos it was an accessible tool, most of the tools are within documents I already use, and found myself upset trying to figuring things out when I can do it another way. Learning new tools is awesome and I enjoyed exploring but had to keep going back to the videos to find out something that was so basic, and really feel the tool is more useless than useful. Anyway, if you want to try a new tool that captures images and videos, you can check it out at: http://www.techsmith.com/jing-features.html. Everyone enjoys different things and your experience may be different. Below is the image that I created: I decided to take a flyer I created a while back and then touch up using a couple tools through the Jing website.

Diigo

Diigo (www.diigo.com) is a free online application that allows anyone to add highlights or comments onscreen to any Web-based text (Carr, 2008). Diigo allows you to research and explore articles that are of your interest and share them within the knowledge sharing community. It allows you to connect with the world and view people of similar interests to yours.

1. Describe 3 steps to recommend in the film to get started social bookmarking?
               > You are able to explore and do intensive research to find web sources that are of you particular interest
              > Connect with the world; allowing you to discuss through messages or comments the interest you have in common with a particular web source.
              > You are in control of your account, you have the ability to easily navigate through the site, organize how you want it to look, ability to share and display.

2. Describe Web 2.0 and how it differs from previous stages of the web?
                - Web 2.0 has multiple tools that allows the user to make their account/ page their own, not what the company wants it to be. The system is easy to navigate, giving a sidebar that will open up any source you are looking for, allows you to open your sources to the world and be able to connect to more people then just the people you already know.

3. What is social bookmarking and what advantages does it offer that traditional storage and retrieval of websites does not?
                  - Social bookmarking is a tool that allows users to use the internet and organize, store and manage to search for bookmarks of resources online. The advantages of bookmarking is that it is a secure tool, opening more doors then the traditional storage sources. Bookmarking also allows teachers to let students have classroom discussion on articles, and have the ability to research and view more; sharing interests and dislikes.

Diigo account is.............https://www.diigo.com/user/adipietro1818

When adding the account which was the easy part, you need to have the Dioglet to be able to bookmark, highlight, share and so forth; this to me was the most frustrating piece because after I downloaded it stayed at one page, so when existing and going back to the page it brought up the same thing as before. It would not allow me to drag and just save to my favorites bar, so eventually I just saved it in a file and have to drag it out that way in order to work; a little frustrating but tolerable. So if anyone else finds a better solution, please comment :)

These tools that are included in the browser add on give you the option to bookmark it if it something of your interest or maybe can be useful down the road. It allows you to highlight something you are researching and do not want to whole entire text, you can share your ideas or findings with people on facebook, twitter or send to your own account, also you can read a piece later if your just not up to it at that particular time,

Standards:

3. Model Digital Age Work and Learning- b.Collaborate with students, peers, parents and community members using digital tools and resources to support student success and innovation. d. Model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digitals tools to locate, analyze, evaluate and use information resources to support research and learning.

Prezi Creation

I had a ton of fun with this particular assignment! I have heard of the Prezi Presentation before but did not realize how much fun I would have creating one. This presentation would be extremely useful in the classroom because the presentation is constantly switching gears, and moving one image to the next. There are a variety of templates you can choose your Prezi from, and I like how it gave me an outline of what to write within each slide; clear directions and easy to use!

Connecting the ISTE Standards to the Prezi Presentation:
  •    Standard Two: Design developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that apply technology-enhanced instructional strategies to support the diverse needs of learners.
This standard stuck out the most to me because I do feel that this presentation will hit every aspect of diverse learners. The Prezi is a visual presentation but with its ability to switch motions, and not your typical standard slide to slide, it will drive the attention of students.

Check out my very own Prezi at: http://goo.gl/LQqU7

Resume Redo

I created a new resume this past week to see which template looked better and presented the information well. When going onto a Resume Revision Site: http://rezscore.com/ it shocked me as to what my result was.

Both resumes that I have created were listed as "weak." One of the resumes being my first one, I created with a college professor; scary. The Rezscore tells you exactly what is strong about your resume (which I did not have much) and what needs to be improved on. If you want a Resume Makeover, the option is available but there is a cost; in the long run it may be worth the cost.

Looking at the improvement areas, I will take it upon myself to make the changes needed. One of the improvement areas was to not mention or provide any reference, I found this rather odd but will advise to doing so. Another was to not use first person within a resume, and I will make this correction as well. This is a great tool to double check your work before submitting it to hundred of employers who are possibly thinking the same thing as the Rezscore website; weak.

Picasso Head

Today, I was challenged to create a painting on Pablo Picasso (http://bit.ly/IMP0dI). I have heard of the painter but have never seen what he looks like. How was I going to create a painting of him with having no clue on what the man looks like? I did come to a standstill and have to look up within Google Images a picture of Pablo Picasso, this is the picture I used to create my Self- Portrait: http://goo.gl/zVPM9.

On the website it gives you every opportunity to create a defined image of Picasso including: head, eyes, ears, nose, lips, eyebrows, hair, and any other definition you want to add, as well as color. Once completing your portrait, you get to sign it as if you are an actual painter, being put in the shoes of one. After I was done, I saved my picture in the Gallery and called it "Ä Work of Art!"

Snipping Tool

Today I learned how to use the "snipping tool!" With technology rapidly growing, I feel as if I cannot keep up with all the new tools that are within the computer for our use!
The image below is what I "snipped," off of the video page where I was watching the video of how to actually use the snipping tool.

This tool can be very useful when you only need a certain picture, information or text when looking over a page. Something so simple can make a word of a difference. I think this tool will be very beneficial when only needing a certain section out of a reading instead of having to print numerous pages, I can simply it!

Resume

I already have a resume created from college, but decided to create a new one just for fun instead of taking the easy way out. I did not realize how many different formats there are for resumes, and it was overwhelming at first until I found one that I thought suited me best! So, check my new resume for this class (I changed my address and phone number but the information is correct)

Millennial Quiz

Another assignment given was to take a 14 question survey that is on a scale from 0 to 100 and comparing it to respondents nationwide. The survey is to explore the behaviors, values, and opinions of teens to people in their 20’s. The chart below states where I have scored for the Millenial test, I scored a 90, which is 17 points above the Millenial point! To see where you stand on the graph, go to this link: http://goo.gl/RY2H7.
So, you may be thinking what does Millennial even mean? After reading an article (http://goo.gl/aKvRk ), I have found out that Millennial is the newest generation of people (1980s and onward) who have been exposed to technology at a fast and high pace. Technology consisting of posts, blogs, tweets, texting and the internet function. With technology growing at a fast pace, the Millennial generation have to keep up in order to make out in society.
After taking the test, I administered my mother who is currently 50 years old and would die if she knew I wrote her age on my paper. I thought she would score higher then me due to being old fashion but score the exact same as me! I was taken back, and utterly shocked. She told me that she has been using her cell phone more, as well as technology devices to as well keep up with society in the field.
Frand’s 10 characteristics of the information mind set:
1. Computer’s Aren’t Technology: When thinking of computers, the first thing I think of with technology, all the functions and the internet are a source of technology and it is compressed into a computer in which I am typing this paper right now.
2. Internet better than TV: I agree, because the internet has so much more power and use then a TV does. With a TV everything is programmed and can only access certain things at certain times whereas the internet is accessible and free whenever needed.
3. Reality No Longer Real: I absolutely agree that in today’s society  no one can be sure that what they feel, touch, see or hear is real. With the economy and many hardships, people can be at their absolute low point causing drama to stir up and un-honesty to emerge, I feel that today’s society has come to a “fight for myself,” type of world.
4. Doing Rather Than Knowing: I disagree with this because I feel that we would be lowering our standards to the youth. By giving them something they may know about but having no education or knowledge behind the matter.
5. Nintendo Over Logic: I find that trial and error is a procedure in life, and would be a plausible possibility to use with the youth today. By having the youth see failure by finding other solutions or ways to explore and find a resolution is a great way to let them see different viewpoints.
6. Multitasking Way of Life: Multitasking has been a greater role in our society. Job descriptions have numerous tasks to fulfill and with not being able to multitask, then you are setting yourself up for failure. I know myself, I am always doing numerous things at once and do have a tendency to take too much on at once, so multitasking is key for my success.
7. Typing Rather Than Handwriting: I have always love to handwrite. With my job we have a lot of assignments that need to be completed, and while all my co-workers complete typed assignments, I always handwrite. I feel that my numerous years of penmanship so be put to use, and find that it is an important quality to have. Being a teacher, I see how my students struggle to write because thei brain is so focused on typing, and it saddens me because handwriting is just as important.
8. Staying Connected: I did not have my first cell phone until I was a junior in high school, I see my kindergartners bringing in cell phones along with their kindles that I have yet to even touch. Cell phones are no longer a privilege by necessity! I love my cell phone and it helps me out in numerous occasions but I did survive the first fifteen years of my life without one!
9. Zero Tolerance for Delays: Yes, of course there is zero tolerance for delays, people want to quick, easy and fastest way possible. I hate traffic jams, and will take twenty detours before getting back on the highway to sit in traffic; absolutely dreadful! Everyone wants to be somewhere or get their errand done as fast as possible instead of sitting or waiting. As I tell myself regularly, “Patience is a virtue.”
10. Consumer/ Creator Blurring: Working with high school students, that was their favorite thing to do; copy and paste. They did not see the importance of creating their own work when they would just use someone else’s. As I told them, “Okay, you can use this source, but I will give credit to that person and not you.” This would have them thinking, and understand that they earn credit for their work not someone else’s.

Social Media

Social Media a great tool, and within todays society it is inevitable to know! I have never had a Google+ account, twitter, or really any internet source just because I never really felt any need to have it. Having taught high school, and now even elementary school I can see how drilled technology is within the education system, and have taken it upon myself to learn what "children," are talking about. I have always known of Twitter but never once thought of creating one. But these sources of technology are becoming the landmarks in education and rapidly growing, and in order to keep up within the education field, we must adapt ourselves to meet the students needs.
Needless to say, I am very lost with the Twitter account, as well as navigating through my gmail account and now see how important it is to grasp all the little bits of information needed to succeed.
